The Regional Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Sports and President of the Camino de la Cruz Foundation, Carmen Conesa, presented the 4th Camino de la Cruz de Caravaca Conference this Thursday. The event will be held with a roundtable discussion at the Las Claras Cultural Center of the Cajamurcia Foundation (C/ Santa Clara, 1, Murcia) on June 10 at 7:00 p.m., with free admission. The presentation was attended by the Councilor for Tourism of the Cieza City Council, María Turpín.

These events, entitled "Sharing the Way," are organized by the Camino de la Cruz Foundation and the Brotherhood of the Most Holy and True Cross of Caravaca. The aim is to share and bring to new audiences the interest in the Camino de la Cruz of Caravaca, part of which runs through our municipality.

New ways to bring the Camino de la Vera Cruz closer to everyone

In keeping with the current times of connectivity, communication, and shared experiences, the Camino de la Cruz Foundation has chosen to focus this first activity through three pilgrims recognized for their active communication activities, who also have a significant impact on traditional and social media: Claudio Pupi, an advertising designer and photographer dedicated to the Camino de Santiago and helping pilgrims along their journey; José Mari Ardanaz, founder of El Camino People, a company specializing in offering pilgrimage experiences and passionate about routes and paths; and Carlota Valenzuela, a pilgrim who left the corporate world to join an IBEX 35 company in the face of a challenge: to walk the Camino from Finisterre to Jerusalem. A solo pilgrimage of more than 6,000 kilometers that translates into a life-changing experience.

The roundtable will be moderated by José Luis Jorquera, an active pilgrim and current social media manager for the Cofradía de la Vera Cruz in Caravaca, who is also the driving force behind these events.
