The mayor of Cieza, Tomás Rubio, presided over the swearing-in of two social workers as permanent civil servants assigned to the Department of Social Services on Monday. The ceremony, held in the council chamber, was also attended by council members Amparo Pino, Gertrudis Juliá, Francisco Martínez, and Cristo Manuel Lucas, as well as colleagues and family members of the two new civil servants.
The Councilor for Human Resources, María Ángeles Ruiz, was in charge of welcoming everyone, highlighting the essential work that social workers do for social cohesion in the municipality.
After taking the oath of office, the councilor addressed them to congratulate them on their inauguration and highlighted their dedication to public service and the citizens of Cieza.
With these two new additions, in addition to the eight new local police officers who took office on July 28, the Cieza City Council aims to provide greater stability to the municipal workforce.
