At 7:37 p.m., the Emergency Coordination Center received numerous calls reporting a fire in the Menjú area, on the right bank of the river, in the municipality of Cieza.

The following media are immediately sent:

7 vehicles with 13 firefighters from the Murcia Region Firefighting and Rescue Consortium (CEIS).

Helicopter based in Alcantarilla.
Heliborne Brigade.

Helicopter based in Pila.
Heliborne Brigade.

Forestry Brigade of Ricote, Cieza, Blanca, Calasparra and Cehegín.

Rapid Intervention Brigade of Cieza and Caravaca.

6 Environmental Agents.
Civil Protection of Cieza.

Civil Guard and Local Police patrols.

Some 70 Infomur Plan personnel are working to extinguish the fire.

Three people have been evicted from two homes and have since returned to their homes.

The Director General of Citizen Security and Emergencies and the Mayor of Cieza join the advanced command post.
