The Departments of Communication and Transparency, and of Administrative Modernization, IT, and Municipal Management announce the courses and workshops scheduled for Open Government Week, which will be held from May 19 to 25. Open Government Week is a globally promoted initiative that aims to disseminate the principles and practices of public administration to create a shared culture with citizens based on the values of transparency and integrity, civic participation, the promotion of fundamental rights, and accountability. Spain has been a member of the Open Government Partnership since 2011.

This Open Government Week is coordinated and promoted by the Directorate General for Public Governance, in collaboration with the Open Government Forum. Its purpose is to organize events to bring public administrations closer to the public.

Cieza City Council has scheduled various activities. Internally, for Cieza City Council staff, Microsoft 365 training sessions have been scheduled for the mornings of May 20th and 21st. For other public administration staff, the assessment tests for the Civil Service School of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia will take place on the 20th.

Also courses open to the general public

At the external level, that is, for any citizen, association, company or group that requires it, the following workshops and courses have been scheduled: May 19, 20, 21 and 22: Electronic Headquarters, procedures and citizen folder from 7 to 9 p.m., Patient Portal from 7 to 9 p.m., E-administration and electronic DNI from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

All courses and workshops will be held in the Wala Classroom and the conference room of the Padre Salmerón Library. Each course will have a capacity of 15 people. Prior registration is required at the Municipal Library or by calling 968 760 800 ext. 1162. Full information on these activities, part of Open Government Week, can be found on the City Council website, municipal networks, and in the various local government buildings. Those interested are recommended to have a digital certificate; if not, an attempt will be made to enroll them during the course. Since there is time, you can also go to the Citizen Service Building (Corner of the Convent) and request an appointment to obtain one.

These courses and workshops, along with others being prepared and to be presented later, will be held at other times and dates, depending on demand, in addition to the dates and times indicated. Finally, please note that the evaluation tests for the Civil Service School of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia are being held in the Wala Classroom of the Municipal Library.
