A new edition of the outreach program is now underway.
'Get to know the Regional Assembly, your Parliament' 2025.
It is the opportunity to see the Parliamentary Chamber in situ, both the history
as the functions of the regional Parliament.
The objective of this Program, organized by the Parliamentary Chamber
Murcian for thirty-five years, is to promote the values
democratic participation, dialogue and tolerance, as well as knowledge
of democratic institutions, especially the Regional Assembly of
Murcia, as the highest regional representative body.
Participation in the educational outreach program consists of two phases:
an internal one, in the educational center itself, where the group works on the
nature, composition and functions of the Regional Assembly or the
democratic institutions, through activities that promote habits of
behavior and democratic values; and an external one, consisting of the
visit to the parliamentary headquarters on the agreed date.
It is the opportunity to participate in guided tours of the facilities
parliamentary, in which the functions of the institution are explained, the work
of the deputies in the Legislative Chamber, the history and curiosities of the headquarters
of the parliament of the Region of Murcia.
Aimed at all types of associations and private groups
The Program is aimed at associations, groups, social entities and
school and individual groups (minimum 8 and maximum 40)
people) who want to know about the Regional Assembly and how it works.
The new edition will take place during the months of July and September
The months reserved for visits are July and September.
from 2025, in the morning (from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.). Except on days
disqualified for parliamentary activity, weekends and holidays.
All this without prejudice to the fact that the rest of the year they can be carried out on the dates and
time slots that the Educational Outreach Program aimed at
students in fifth and sixth grade of Primary Education, Secondary Education
Compulsory, Baccalaureate and Vocational Training, belonging to centers
educational institutions of the Region of Murcia, do not cover.

The choice made by those requesting the visit, and the acceptance thereof
by the Regional Assembly, it will be understood in any case to be subject to
the internal organization of the Chamber or the needs arising from the
parliamentary activity. Consequently, the Regional Assembly reserves the right to
right to modify it if necessary, offering the affected applicant another
option.
Participation in this Program is not funded by the Assembly
Regional. Participants will be responsible for travel expenses.
