The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia, as part of the services established to prevent and prosecute drug trafficking, has carried out Operation "Omoi" in Cieza, dismantling an active drug sales point located in a home in the urban area of Cieza.
During the operation, the Civil Guard arrested the two suspects, allegedly committing crimes against public health for drug trafficking, and seized a large quantity of cocaine, marijuana, and hashish, as well as other drug-related paraphernalia.
The operation began last June, when officers from the Civil Guard's Citizen Security Prevention Unit launched an operation to verify a series of indications of illicit activities related to drug trafficking in the municipality of Cieza.
The first steps of the operation allowed investigators to identify and locate a man and a woman who were apparently distributing a considerable volume of various drugs, including cocaine, marijuana, and hashish, through their home. This was a repeat offense, as just three months earlier they had been arrested by the Civil Guard for the same offenses and in the same location.
