The Padre Salmerón Municipal Library received the donation of the book "Monstruos al Uso" (Gami Publishing, 2025) this Tuesday, written by students from El Ope School in Archena. The presentation was attended by the Councilor for Culture, María Turpín, and the library director, Pascuala Gabaldón, who agreed that a publication focused on the concept of values that determine the behavior of an individual or a society is highly appreciated.

According to Cieza professor and work coordinator Antonio Gómez Alguacil, "It's not the monsters of literature, film, or popular tradition, but those who do exist, the ones we should truly fear. They assault us at any time, in any place. They make us prisoners of their evil ways, they make us feel bad about ourselves, they make us lose friends, they make us angry."

This book was self-managed by the students themselves and has received support from the school and the parents' association. It has also been proposed that it be available in all public libraries in the eight municipalities of the Ricote Valley, Molina de Segura, and the Regional Library of Murcia. As it is a self-managed book, it is also available for purchase in bookstores.
