The Mayor of Cieza and the president of the Brotherhood of the Most Holy Christ of Consolation will be responsible for welcoming guests to the reception at the town hall starting at 11:00 a.m. They will be accompanied by residents of Cieza who were absent from previous events and their families. During the reception, in the plenary hall, each guest will be presented with a monolith bearing the image of the Holy Christ as a commemorative souvenir of the day, along with the event's 2017 magazine.
The delegation will then visit the brotherhood's house-museum on Cartas Street, where they will sign the brotherhood's golden book. They will then travel to the Siyâsa Museum.
The day will conclude with a fellowship meal and attendance at Mass before the image of the Holy Christ is transferred to its shrine, in keeping with the tradition of the Day of the Cross.
