"While the audience's applause is still ringing out, following the success achieved in Italy just a few days ago, the Choirs and Dances of Cieza are already packing their bags once again to travel to Galicia," reports a statement from the folk group founded in 1942.

Specifically, the press release explains, "these will be on August 9 and 10 to participate in the 36th International Folklore Festival of Pontedume and on August 11 in the 45th International Folklore Festival of Viveiro, representing the Region of Murcia at both festivals.

The Ciezan members have prepared two programs featuring parrandas, malagueñas, and jotas. Regarding the costumes, they will use two varieties: labor and huertana.

Along with the Cieza group, the groups from Senegal, Poland, Chile, Portugal, the Basque Country, and the host groups of each festival: Orballo and Bagoas da Terra, will participate.
