Ten absent Cieza residents received tribute from the Cieza City Council this Saturday at an event organized by the Brotherhood of the Most Holy Christ of Consolation during this Day of the Cross.
After the reception in the plenary hall, where Mayor Tomás Rubio and members of the Corporation welcomed the guests together with national deputies Miriam Guardiola and Joaquín Martínez and the president of the Brotherhood of the Santísimo Cristo del Consuelo, José Balsalobre, the group visited the brotherhood house and the Municipal Folklore Center.
In the afternoon, the absent Ciezans attended the transfer of the Christ of Consolation to its hermitage.
