The Forum for Thought and Dialogue, a Cultural Association, celebrating its first decade of existence by carrying out outreach activities aimed at cultivating critical thinking, is organizing the conference "Addictions: An Uncomfortable Reality That Must Be Faced."

The talk will be led by Asunción Santos de Pascual, General Director of Proyecto Hombre Murcia, who holds a degree and a PhD in Psychology. It will be presented by Francisca Moya del Baño, Emeritus Professor and volunteer with Proyecto Hombre Murcia.

About the speaker:

General Director of Proyecto Hombre Murcia, she is a key figure and
a benchmark in the Region in the fight against addictions and in the promotion of
comprehensive health of individuals and their families. With a professional career
deeply linked to the social and therapeutic field, has dedicated a large part of
his career to understand the complexity of addictions and to lead initiatives
that offer hope and paths to recovery to those affected.
The program highlights a bachelor's degree in psychology and a doctorate in 2022.
by the University of Murcia, with the thesis on Treatment Efficacy in
addictions in PH Murcia.

His leadership in Proyecto Hombre Murcia is characterized by a vision
person-centered strategic approach, addressing addictions from a
biopsychosocial perspective that considers all the factors that influence its
development and maintenance. Under his leadership, the organization has strengthened
its prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and social integration programs,
adapting to the new realities and challenges posed by today's world
in relation to addictions, including new technologies and
emerging substances.

Beyond her outstanding professional work, Asunción is recognized for her
deep human sensitivity and his unwavering commitment to dignity
