This Thursday at the Padre Salmerón Municipal Library in Cieza at 6:30 p.m., we invite you to a lecture dedicated to the artistic, historical, and cultural analysis of two iconic photographs of the King and Queen of Spain taken by the prestigious photographer Annie Leibovitz, currently on display at the Bank of Spain as part of the "Tyranny of Chronos" exhibition.
It will focus on elements of art history, Spanish history, and other cultural references that Leibovitz has used in her portraits.
And it will include a visual support with 58 images—some taken from the media and others captured by the speaker herself in museums in Rome and at the exhibition itself in Madrid.
The lecture will last approximately one hour and fifteen minutes and will be given by Virtudes López Montiel, a graduate in Philosophy and Literature, in Pedagogy, and a current student in Fine Arts.
