In recent weeks, municipal services have intensified these releases in various areas of the municipality, paying particular attention to parks, gardens, and street tree lines. The use of natural enemies such as ladybugs and hoverflies eliminates the need for phytosanitary products, thus reducing the risks to public health and the impact on the environment.

The strategy is reinforced with other complementary actions, such as promoting lower vegetation layers and increasing plant diversity in urban spaces, following the example of recent interventions on Camino de Madrid, Avenida Juan XXIII Norte, and Camino de Murcia.
